ABOUT ME

Hello I'm Loïc. The ocean has always been more than just a place to me. It’s where I feel most at home. I spend a large part of my life in the water — freediving, spearfishing, exploring and simply observing what happens beneath the surface. Over the years, this close relationship with the ocean led me to become a Molchanovs certified freediving instructor, deepening not only my understanding of the water, but also my connection to it. Photography became a way for me to share that feeling. I’m drawn to the moments that happen naturally underwater — movement, light, silence, and the connection between a person and the sea. Rather than simply taking a picture, I want to create images that make you feel what it is like to be there. Today, I’m based in Saint Barthélemy, where the ocean is an everyday part of my life and the main source of inspiration behind my work. Welcome to my world beneath the surface
